All that and more on this week’s edition of Saturday Morning Coffee!!
VAX MANDATES: Reese and Glen discuss the growing push from government and employers to require everyone to “get the jab,” and the growing push-back from many corners, including teachers, public employees and from the medical field, and - significantly - 600 Navy Seals who have said they will leave the Navy, even if they lose their benefits, if they are required to get the vaccine.

CHARTER SCHOOL GROWTH: Chris Neely, Superintendent of the S.C. Public Charter School District, joins us to discuss the phenomenal growth in charter school growth since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. Education Choice and freedom to educate your children in the school of your choosing is, in our opinion, the civil rights issue of our time, and Charter Schools are standing in the gap to help close that “educational gap” in our society. Even if you don’t have children or children of school age, everyone should be excited and should work to support the efforts of the S.C. Public Charter School District and other public charter school authorizers.
BIDEN SPEECH TO U.N.: Brett Schaefer with the Heritage Foundation joins us on the show to discuss an article that he published this week on the President’s disastrous speech at the United Nations
Reese discusses how the reactions to Biden’s speech ranged from “disastrous” to indifferent. Our allies are troubled by our lack of leadership and they feel that the U.S. is “lost” and speech that POTUS Joe Biden gave to the United Nations this week, which was roundly panned by our friends and foes alike around the globe. Schaefer discusses the various diplomatic mis-steps of this Administration over the last several months, and the disastrous ramifications that the botched withdrawal from Afghanistan will have for the standing of the U.S. on the World stage — for many years to come.
BORDER PATROL MOUNTED OFFICERS: Reese takes Rep. Maxine Waters to task for the despicable comments she made regarding the “whipping” of Haitians, which actually DID NOT OCCUR . . . . IT IS A LIE that she is repeating and propagating . . . . IT DID NOT HAPPEN, being the “worst thing to happen to People of Color since Slavery” — which is an utterly irresponsible and reprehensible thing to say. She should be ASHAMED of herself - as should every politician who stood on the dais with her. They should all hang their heads in shame and - more importantly - they should apologize to the Border Patrol agents in question, and to all law enforcement officers, for participating in such lies and reprehensible conduct!
