Welcome to Saturday Morning Coffee for Saturday, June 12, 2021!
On this episode of Saturday Morning Coffee, Host Reese Boyd and Producer Glenn Dye discuss the important events of the day, including the continuing crisis along our southern border, the Vice President's continuing insistence on going everywhere BUT the Border, and Texas' recent decision to build its own border wall. Texas Governor Abbott has announced that Texas will soon be releasing plans for the construction of a border wall paid for by the State, given the federal government's abandonment of the Trump Border Wall along our southern border, and the ongoing crisis there. We also discuss the Vice President's recent visit to Guatemala and how her message failed to resonate there.
Rep. Russell Fry Interview:
Rep. Russell Fry (R - Dist 106) from the S.C. House joins us to discuss some of the significant bills that were passed during the recently-concluded legislative session. We discuss the Second Amendment bills as well as some developments on the death penalty in South Carolina; we also discuss the ongoing debate over "vaccine passports" in the Palmetto State.
Vaccine Passports:
Reese spends a few minutes discussing the idea of vaccine passports, and one thing that is deeply concerning -- college students being required to become vaccinated in order to enroll in our colleges and universities in the Fall, when there are emerging studies that point to significant potential dangers, both for young men and young women, associated with the vaccine.
Red Hats America:
Don Bowne and Coleton Furlow join us in the studio to discuss the Red Hats America, and a very special event coming up on Monday night, June 14, 2021.
