Welcome to Saturday Morning Coffee for Saturday, January 9, 2021.  Your Host Reese Boyd and Producer Glenn Dye discuss the incredible events of January 6 in our Nation's Capitol, and how the terrible tragedy of that day points to the over-arching need - the imperative - that we fix our election processes going forward.    We talk about how opinions and viewpoints are being suppressed - by Big Tech especially - and how that is harming our civic fabric and the strength of our democracy.  Rep. Russell Fry joins us on the program to talk about the events of the week and the outlook for the Republican Party going forward, plus, how we can work to restore confidence in the integrity of our elections after a "dumpster fire" of an election in November 2020.

Convention of the States - Chris Poyatt with the Convention of States joins us on the program to discuss the ongoing effort to convene a Convention of the States for purposes of considering proposed Amendments to the U.S. Constitution.

Big Tech Censorship: Reese discusses the grave threat to democracy posed by the censorship of conservative groups and ideas that companies like Facebook, Twitter, Amazon/AWS, Google and others are now engaged in.

Jared Dillian joins the show to talk about the election, and what the impact may be on markets as we move forward with Democrats in control of the White House and also the Congress.  Reese and Jared also discuss the potential threats to the U.S. posed by China as it continues to grow in economic and military power.
